The beginning of June kicks off with the arrival of our “ Live Tropical Butterflies” from Central & South America.. We introduce these beautiful flying jewels into our conservatory, where you can mill about with them as they flutter from flower to flower in search of tasty nectar. Sunday September 23rd, 2007 1-3pm. MONARCH TAG RELEASE DAY           Where: Blue Willow Garden & Landscape Design Centre, 23834 Hwy # 48, Baldwin

Come and tag your very own monarch butterfly and release it. By participating in this program and educating others about monarchs and the conservation issues associated with this species, you will help in the efforts to maintain the monarch migration. One of our long term goals is to assure the perpetuation of the monarch migration in Eastern North America. To accomplish this goal we need to monitor the monarch population and educate the public and the policy makers to all factors, human caused and natural, which affect the monarch population.
